Thanks everybody. This was completely unsolicited on my part and when they said to log into my account I got suspicious even if the site is legit (as you all know). Anyway appreciate the responses and have deleted the email.
I just got an email (unsolicited) from something called the "Photography Academy". I never signed up for this but I wonder if it's an offshoot of some group that I have signed up for previously. Anybody ever hear of this or is this a scam solicitation?
Thanks.
In the Atlanta, GA area, Showcase Photo & Video is a pretty good source. They are located at 2323 Cheshire Bridge Road in Atlanta. I've bought several lenses and a camera body from them and when I had an issue with the camera body during the 30 day period following the purchase, they exchanged it for a new body - argument. A pleasure to deal with them in general. They also run some special events at various times and partner with KEH on some events as well.
Long ago and far away I was a wedding photographer to support my hobby. This was Mamiya-Sekor and Tri-X/Ektachrome days. Finally went out and bought a DSLR (Canon 3ti) to see if I still had the bug. I guess it's incurable.
Been reading posts here for a month or so and think the responses here are so helpful. I've learned a lot just "lurking". Thanks to all of you. Looking forward to participating more.

The Wolverine F2D has received good reviews - any experience with that?
I used one (borrowed from a friend) and loved it. Did prints, slides and even negatives. very easy to use. Copied the slides (etc) onto a memory card, then I just transferred the contents of the card to my PC as jpg's.
