Beautiful. The photographer creates the image, not the camera.

Thank you! Back when I got my XZ1 my cell camera just wasn't good enough. Just seems pointless to carry around a compact now.

A while back now I bought my Olympus XZ-1. For a while it went everywhere with me. Somewhere along the way I realized I could get pretty decent shots with my cellphone and the XZ-1 started collecting dust. Probably when I got my Samsung S6. Am I missing something or what?

Heres a couple shots I took recently with my Samsung S7 (not even the lastest and greatest S10 )

Thanks everyone! Not a lot of time this summer for my photography so I was fortunate to have this mantis drop in on the kitchen remodel! Bob

A few weeks into our kitchen remodel and I see this guy in the corner. Took a few pics and got him outside again. Bob

#2 is a nice image.

Thanks! Yeah the first was just to show where I initially saw him- lower than expected and thru the brush. Bob

Always have my eye out around the house- looking up. This guy surprised me as he was maybe 15ft off the ground. Too far for a decent shot until I scared him and he flew closer momentarily. Got off a couple shots but my Sigma 150-500 needs better light than a cloudy, bright backlit day...Bob

50 ft away in the thicket...

Thanks! It needs to come down. We might leave the last 15 ft with the squirrel homes though. Bob

Well done. I like it and I don't like tree rats. vz

Thanks! Ha, yeah I'm not fond of the "vermin" either but I hate to admit it-they look kind of cute in their tree co-op! lol! Bob

Thanks everyone! I saw them and ran for the camera. Fortunately they stayed in this position for almost a minute maybe. ...photo opp! It was about 40' away I wasn't getting any closer. Opened the patio door, onto the patio, took the shot and jumped back inside-brrr! cold! Bob
