You need a pixel editor to remove "for sale"signs, (ps), a zoom lens so that you can get the whole thing without distortion, and something to straighten out horizontal, vertices lines...a DXPRO viewpoint. AND LUCK!
It's like buying a new car and only then discovering that you can't drive it on any of the existing roads! It happened to me when I switched from a canon
60d to a 6d! But it made me discover DXO..for which I am grateful!
Ah, Kodachrome! I worked at Kodak (2 times). Certain images could not be sent through the mail, and were stored at Kodak if the user wanted to come and pick them up, but, when such was niticed, several of us would go down to the processing lab at look at them...
As a 2 time Kodak employee, and a Kodak industrial fellowship recipient, when will Kodak start on a new, improved buggy whip?
You must have great muscles!
Good! Now go to the gym and start training with 25 lb. free weights!
Oh no! It IS in the exposure...what God do to it determines your definition of zone V!
Take it wider than you have to, and crop out the edges, where the distortion is maximum.
Nobody mentioned DXO-pro. When I got my canon D6 (6D?) my ps5 would not read its raw files. I tries to download an up to date ACR, and got so much garbage, virus's that it cost me almost as much as my new computer did to get it cleaned up . I did use canons DDP. It works well, but has some disadvantages...see following: to move around a photo, or to change its size one must first click on a size. Then scroll to where you want to go...In DXO The size of the image is controlled by the mouse wheel, and you scroll to a new position by moving the mouse. This advantage saves much time and frustration. Of course, DXO IS A POSERFUL RAW PROCESSOR, whice I found to be easier to use than the ACR in PS14 or DPP. Try the free 30 day trial!!
Try the 30 day free trial of DXOversion 11. It is new and might read your raw files or, ask on the internet if it does.
I tried it, but was put off by the many tourist traps!
I shoot a lot of stage productions. Many different colored lights! If, in post processing, I "white balance" on a white shirt which was actually blue, all hell breaks loose. The eye saw white, the camera saw blue! But someone looking at the photo expects white.
THANKS!!!!! The computer icon and "search *.CR2"worked perfectly, and simply, and included dates of making.....BUT I didn't find what I was looking for anyway...probably gone forever. But thanks anyway!
I know they are "somewhere" ? I have several files of CR2's and JPEGS, but somehow I 'Lost them" WINDOWS 10 "help" does not! all kinds of windows are suggested, most of which I can't find, even dropping down into DOS doesn't help.
A hellava situation for one who has taught computer use and DOS!
