Went to Newfoundland in the mid-80's in June; traveled from south to north on both coasts & only place we saw icebergs was L'anse aux Meadows. This was first place I used a 35 mm -- great experience!
Thanks. The young woman was a university student doing a study near Tegucigalpa. She examined him, let us take a few photos and released him. He wasn't held for very long and she managed to calm him down fairly quickly.
Thanks. You really got #1 which was shot in the arid region of the Aguan Valley, near Colanchito. The area is south of Pico Bonito National Park and #2 was shot north of the mountain range which is rain forest.
I took this photo in Honduras, Panacam National Park. Bugguide ID's North American insects; does anyone know a source for Central America or can ID this gorgeous bug (he was approx 2.5 inches long)?
A few years ago I bought a very popular brand of SD card (perhaps not the most expensive but widely used). I went on a once in a lifetime trip. After 4 days the brand new card failed (physical failure). No back up - long story short, I lost all data. If a card is going to fail, there is nothing you can do except make sure you back up daily.
