When I shoot sports I set ISO on auto then use manual mode for aperture & shutter speed. You'll need at least 500 for shutter and as open as you can set the aperture. I always use the lens hood and a mono. Good luck...I really enjoy sports pbotography!
Lived in greater Boston area since 1973 and stopped reading the Boston Globe Democrat years ago.....nothing even remotely close to reporting. Extreme li real bias.
Old school, my last birthday the wife gave me a little book designed to record passwords. Keep it locked up in my shop....a d use it all the time!!!
Red River Paper. Great product line, good pricing. Just Google them
In the Golf business. Had a meteorologist speak at an educational session and he said many "liberal leaning" scientists have adjusted measurements and methodologies to fit their narrative. Fact in 40 years the average temps on earth have increased .003 degrees. The question he asked was: is this part of th earth normal cycles or something man made. He made a very strong argument that it is a normal variation. Politics seem to be more important than real science.
A well know Meterorolgist her in New England spoke at a recent GCSA meeting and presented factual temperature data from 1970 to 2015. The Earth's temperature has risen .003 of a degree. Is this a natural occurrence or caused by man? He believes this is just part of the normal heating and cooling cycles of earth.....and that the climate is constantly changing....think ice age and dinosaur.

Yep, the same polls that had Hillary winning by 65%
From CNN....now that was some un-bias survey
I shoot a lot of basketball....in some very poorly lit gyms. I have found shooting in manual mode set at the largest aperture available (I use 2.8), and a shutter speed fast enough to freeze the action (at least 500). Then set you ISO to auto. You'll find this works great.
