We didn't have them until a neighboring farmer brought in a lot of cattle and then came the birds -- could not keep them off the feeders -- very aggressive. Finally they left because the cattle were gone, but we had one yesterday -- hopefully they won't return.

I was raised on a farm. Use to watch the tumble bugs push the little balls around and when they were ready to push it into their hole I would scoot it out of the way and make them work some more. Kind of mean.
Aa I write this there is a huge red tail hawk in a pine tree across the road. He has been there for an hour watching for mice and moles. Yesterday he captured two mice so he knows where there is good forging. I wish I could get a picture but he is to far.
