Okay, so can anyone tell me where I can find a new Canon T3i? I took earlier advice and found a knowledgeable person with which to discuss cameras. He is a Canon person and he suggested a T3i as a good novice camera.

I posted a few weeks ago about a tele lens for a sony H-2. Since then I have decided that I can afford an entry level DSLR. My family has always been a canon family;my dad was a UPI reporter in his early career and took his own photos. He really liked canon.
I am torn between canon and nikon. Thinking Canon t5 or sl 1. Nikon d5200 or d5300. How about a sony A58? Please HELP enlighten me. Reading more articles only confuses me more.

Hello, I am strictly an amateur photographer and take most of my photos while traveling. Of course I also take family photos of family events. I have a Canon AE1 that I got for College graduation. I love it, but have gotten out of the habit of using it since I got a digital camera. SonyDSC-H2. I love the camera but it is now outdated. I have played with the idea of buying a telephoto lens w/ adapter for it. Is it worth spending $50-$100.00 or should I look for a new camera? Still really enjoy my H2.
