You have to get a serial number first. Go to www.adobe.com/go/getserial. Sign in with your Adobe ID or sign up to create an ID. When prompted, enter the redemption code. At that time your serial number will be displayed. Copy it down incase you ever have to reinstall. Now when it asked for the serial number during installation, type it in. It will be all numbers. Good luck, I had the same problem when I installed the product.

I had some pictures of the Pileated Woodpecker that I took back in 2007. These were taken thru a window inside my house.

I plan on getting 12. If there is something that has been removed from a version, you don't have to uninstall one version to go to a new version. I have versions 3,7,9,& 10 installed. Most of the time I only use 10, but have used 9 once in a while.

About thirty years ago, I purchased a microwave oven for my mother-in-law. It was about $180 dollars and the sales person wanted me to buy an extended warranty for about $200. When I told him I wasn't interested, he had about three other warranties he could sell me, each one was less money. To make a long story short, I don't know who has the oven now, but it was passed thru the family for at least twenty years and never had a problem. In most cases if a problem does occur, it will happen during the first year, and in most cases the manufacturing company will have that covered with their warranty.

In Wikipedia, it is called the "brick". At one time I lived in Rochester, NY and a friend, that worked at Kodak, called it the "Gold Brick", due to the fact that so many were sold.

After looking at all the fireworks photos, I went back to one I took over 50 years ago from the third floor of my dorm at Michigan State. I was using an Argus C3 at the time.

I converted all my slides a few years ago. I purchased an Epson Perfection 1200 Photo scanner. It really worked great. I could scan 4 slides at a time, and then work on them. I first saved all of then, about 2500, just as they were scanned, but later worked each one with Photoshop Elements. Also, I would give them a date that was on the slide, example July 1956 etc., so I would have something to go by. When I was at Michigan State I took some slides, and I'll post three to show you the resulted. A friend of mine was a pilot, and I had a chanch to get some pictures about the university. Also, I should tell you that the Epson scanner I have, the software that I used to scan the slides does not work in Windows 7. I still use the seanner, but I can't do slides anymore.

I keep almost all my pictures. Disk space is very cheap, and you never know when you may want to fix up a "bad" picture, due to a death or any other reason.

I have been watching this site for a few months. Retired and been taking pictures for a long time. My D90 is my forth digital camera, but I have over 2500 slides from my Argus. Hope to post some pictures soon.

You've just sat down on the back porch with a fresh grilled ham and cheese, put your feet up, set down your glass of sweet tea. As you open your book, understanding exposure a Pilliated Woodpecker lands in a tree 30 feet away on a branch less then 50 feet off the ground. The lighting is perfect. Your camera is in the house and not set up. Your dog is sitting on the deck, next to your chair hoping you will drop so much as a pickle slice. Knowing you can concentrate on the book and wouldn't enjoy the ham and cheese as much wondering if...........
What do you do?????
Then I will tell you what I did.

I had the same problem a few years ago. I was out fishing, but not catching anything, and I noticed an eagle flying and it landed in a tree on a island in the lake where I was fishing. Didn't have my camera, but decided to go about two miles in my boat, pick up my camera and come back. I really didn't think the eagle would still be there, but the fishing was bad, so I had nothing to lose. When I got back, the eagle was still there, so I decided to slow down my pontoon boat and go tward the eagle. I took many pictures with my D90, till it took off. These are a couple of the pictures I took.
