Hey guys! I just purchased a Nikon 10-24mm wide angle lens for my D7100. Any suggestions on what photoshop program I should acquire to correct any unintended distortions on my raw photos?

Greetings folks!
I am now a VERY proud owner of a Nikon D7100. Yay! But now I need to invest in a decent photo-editing software program. I am not interested in spending $1000, or having software that requires a Phd to understand (let alone use). No rocket science please! Lol. I am willing to go as high as $500 but not a penny more. Suggestions?

What photoshop program would you recommend I purchase to do the HDR work with the raw photos?

Awesome! Thanks so much. The wife and I are making a trip back to Northern Califonia (Eureka) from Fort Worth TX and I want to get some sweet shots within the redwoods. This will DEFINATELY help!!!

Hey guys! A quick question... Does anyone know how to set up the D7100 to take multiple pics at different light settings and merge the shots to bring out fore, middle and background lighting?

Hooray! I finally purchased my D7100 and I am thrilled! I am looking for input on what Pelican case I should get. This kind of investment needs a grade A protective carrying case that can hold the camera, spare battery & telephoto lens. Suggestions?

More than likely it will be a "Body Only" set up.Most package deals seem to contain a lot of cheap stuff. I want to do this "right" from the start.

Thanks for all of your wonderful input. I will get my 7100 in 2 weeks! Yay! But now the next haunting question...what should I get as my go-to lens. Of course others will be purchased along the way, but I am looking for the best lens to start with. I am trying to accomplish this for under $700. Let the suggestions begin! Oh yeah, and any speed light recommendations would be greatly appreciated!

Greetings! I spent most of my youth doing photography DAILY with my father who was a semi-professional photographer. I am now ready to graduate up to a worthy Digital SLR Nikon (my preferred camera). I have been doing a lot of reading and have set my sights on the D7100. I am looking for all the input I can get!
