I had my Sony NEX 5R converted by Kolarivision. Great customer service and the conversion took less than a day.
As others have said, lifepixal has a good reputation too.
Thanks all!!! UHH is a great resource!
I recently pulled the trigger on a D610 and am loving it. The kit (24-85mm) lens isn't bad but I am thinking I want to mostly use prime lenses for this camera.
I just put a Sigma 105mm on order and it should be here by July 9th. I picked the focal length because it is out of the range of the kit lens so I thought it would be a good starting place.
I am looking for recommendations for normal and wide lenses.
I will be shooting just about anything but want to do:
Events (such as weddings)
Street photography
buildings and landscapes
Portraits (people and pets).
Some sports.
I am thinking of the Sigma 35mm Art series lens next.
Any suggestions?
Hi All!
I have been lurking the Hog for about a year and been getting some good information.
I am from Southern California and had taken a long break from photography but am now back.
Film still has its appeal and I doubt I will give it up as long as they keep making it. I do find myself reaching for the DSLR much more nowadays!
