Here's where the smoke ring came from, pretty amazing. This is first time for the Air Force Thunderbirds performing at NAS Oceana, Blue Angels will be back next year.
The Black Daggers is an additional event at the oceanfront after sunset, with a F/A18 super hornet flyby lighting up afterburners.

There's a calibration mode with high end Canon battery chargers. My 1DIV has that and according to what I've read, this can extend the life. The calibration mode also allows a more accurate reading when charging and replenishment in future incidences. I've only had to use it once in the last 5 years and it automatically went into the mode once the batteries were inserted into the charger.
Even modern cars now have have similar functions; in the BMW world its called battery registration. A small chip is included in the battery cable connectors and monitors battery health and charge rate.
I know so as I now have to code one engine management computer and tell it its a new battery after replacement so rate of charge will not be same as old battery.
Hi !
Is the book still available ?
Working for NY Tel. in the 80s thru the 90s, north of Yonkers is referred to as upstate NY. Westchester is always referred to as Westchester, that's all. Same as Manhattan is called the city from where I live in the borough of Queens inspite of having the 5 boroughs as New York city.
My tip to you, stop by Saratoga if your driving on the thruway. Lots of old homes to view near the racetrack, some picturesque and some are not.
We went on a 8-day bus tour from Stuttgart to Scotland end of September last. Temperature was mostly in low 40s except in the highlands where it got down to high 20s. I suggest checking Interra-Reisen if you are military (USO tours, don't know where you will start your tour though); our tour was very personalized with the owner as one of the guides and bus owner is the driver as well.
The Highlands is really an amazing place; check out Urquhart castle and Loch Ness area.
I did both MBP and 2015 iMac a month ago, I now get intermittent Bluetooth lost connection with iMac. I had to reload Mojave os after continuously getting BT issues. Seems to have fixed the issue by reloading os and resetting BT module.
Adobe Application Manager is now out of date and needs updating, might just delete it to see if it won't affect LR 6.1.
Selling my Fuji X-T1 camera body, includes 1 NP-W126 battery, BC-W126 charger, strap and hand grip (all Fujifilm). I'm also including a Peak Design leash complete with 3 links and a Lexar Pro 16gb memory card.
Asking $450 + shipping.
Original purchase from B&H in 2015, used only for travels (last photo taken is dsc-2717). There's a small chip on left side of screen protector only but no screen damage (thats why a screen protector) and a small scratch right side of center marker of grip. Scratch was there when I purchased used.

What did YOU think of the Fuji?
I’ve had a few and love them for travel.
Fuji X-T2 is an excellent camera, focus acquisition is still not up to far with dslr though.
Thank you, rjaywallace. Six weeks seems a long time but still not enough time for where i wanted to go.
I had posted a question about camera choice between Nikon d810 vs Fuji X-T1 for Europe travel, decided on taking just the Fuji. Heres some of my photos. Enjoy and comments are welcome.

Hello folks !
I'm back from an exhausting 6 week Europe trip; been there many times but this by far is the longest stay. I'm happy to say I am completely satisfied with the Fuji X-T2 which I bought the week before our travel. The XF18-55mm was used extensively together with the 16mm (35mm never saw action :(
The decision to take one camera worked well because it would have been really difficult to travel around with a heavy backpack. As my friend no longer lives on base (Patch), its a nightmare to find parking where we lived, hence no rental car but taking public transportation most of the time. Stuttgart bus and trains are by far the easiest to use compared to other city public busses and trains.
anyway, here's a sampling of my photos;
Ooops, can't do attachment so I'll post a follow up,,,
