That's what I was thinking, but I'll put that on my list for next time.
It looks like the Gorge will be about 160 miles from where we will be staying in Winter Park.
Do you have any recommendations of must see places in northern Colorado around Winter Park and RMNP? This will be our first trip and will be there the end of this month for 1 week. We would be interested in getting wildlife shots, landfall, waterfalls, etc. We will have a Jeep so back roads won't be a problem. Thank you for your help.
Jackson Hole WY - I was on the edge of a fairly large pond and at the other end was a calf and cow moose. I got photos but not as good as I wanted. : (
