Nothing better than a day at the beach.

FYI. You really dont need to pay someone to negotiate with the IRS. i know someone who negotiated her own compromise with the IRS.
I was going to say the same thing. My daughter’s ex-husband owed several thousand dollars, she got it down to about $1.00. However, he was disabled, unable to work, and had no money. But, she did it herself, without going through an expensive company.

I too use Peak Design. The connectors are easy to attach, and detach. Depending on your age, and gender, you might be familiar with the type of connections. It is just like a garter belt connection. :-D.

Exactly. Never had a single problem with Amazon CS, and I have had opportunity to talk to both online and phone reps. Love or hate Amazon, they didn’t get huge by having crappy customer service.
Amazon CS is amazing, that said, when you buy from a 3rd party on Amazon you do need to be aware. I have heard horror stories about the counterfeit goods being sold through Amazon. Granted, if you think something is counterfeit, they will promptly refund it, but they are still selling it.
Thank you everyone for your input. Here is what happened. I was really concerned that I would lose all of my information on Lightroom, etc. When I set up the new computer, I didn't set it up as "new" but used a backup from the previous day, on my old computer. It took some time, but the end result was that when I opened Lightroom, everything was there. I was able to plug in my external hard drive that my photos were stored on, and everything works perfectly.

You sure did create a major stink on UHH over something you had not even tried to rectify yet.
A simple question to us about the wisdom of keeping a demo lens and saving $100.00 would have sufficed, then reporting to us after dealing with Adorama about what happened.
Please read the previous pages of posts. This poor guy has been crucified because he wouldn't reveal who the company was, and when he finally caves in and does, you give him this? It's truly damned if you do, or damned if you don't.
Thank you, I think it was just my failure to use the correct wording. I will definitely check out your attachment, but I know I can only have Lightroom on 2 computers, (with one subscription), and it is also on a laptop, so I need to move my registration from the old one to the new.
My dear husband bought me a new computer for Christmas, and now I’m scratching my head on how to move my Lightroom photos. My old computer is a 2011, 27” iMac . The new one is a 2019, 27” iMac.
I went to Adobe, and understand about canceling the subscription on the old computer, and enabling it on the new one. That is the limit of my knowledge. How do I move the photos from my old computer to my new one? Most (not all) are saved to an external hard drive, which I need an adapter to even attach to the new computer, as they no longer have USB ports.
Once I cancel the subscription on my old computer, (which I must do in order to put it on my new computer) are my photos even accessible on it? Will I need to duplicate all of my catalogs on the new computer in order for the photos on my external hard drive to even be accessible? What about the photos saved to the hard drive of the old computer, how to move them?
I’m sure that I am not the first person to have these questions, and I couldn’t think of a better place to get my answers than here.
Thanks in advance.
I.just found this thread, and nothing has been posted since May, 2019. I am just curious if you were able to find out what the problem was?
