Great set angler. I really like #2
Wonderful glorious sunlight after 5 days of continuous rain. At first I thought this tree was backlit, but after processing, discovered some very strong directional side-lighting. At this early hour in the morning, the light came in at such a shallow angle that it did a wonderful job of lighting up some trees, while preserving the shadows in others.
Great shot Bob. Very nicely done
In a way this is a collaboration with Pierre who turned me on to using Corel PaintShop X8 to create my borders. It gave me the chance to color coordinate the framework. Thanks Pierre.
The NCDOT does a pretty good job of trasnforming our expressway fringes into a magical palette of hues and lumenosities.
This is a 6 picture set of VEZENOBRES, a small village at the crossroads of the Cevennes and Provence in Southern France, with its vaulted passages, little squares dotted with shops and cafés its one of the most beautiful villages I have seen anywhere. First a Roman oppidum, then a medieval fortress Vezenobres owes its prosperity to the dried fig and the Regordane Way, the pilgrim and trade route linking Le Puy-en-Velay to St-Gilles du-Gard.
Some of the places below are "must-see" destinations but didn't fit in with any particular set, and some weren't visited under optimal conditions but are an integral part of a Canadian Rockies itinerary.
It was only a light breeze but it was wreaking havoc with an insect as light as a butterfly, keeping him off-balance. Other than that, though, the colorful background set him off quite nicely.
