Hello Mark. Bummer! I have had pretty good luck with Western Digital. I have currently 2 4TB WdDrives and carbonite for back up. When I had one crash Carbonite backed it up to my new drive. I pay 100.00 a year but worth the off-site protection. Good luck

I was able to move around 30 in airdrop at a time. Long division as it seems to be going backward.

I have tried this and it does not show up as a drive. Same with our family's iPhone XR and iPhone 8

Hello Friends,
I recently upgraded to an iPhone 11 from my iPhone 6. With my 6 I could plug it into my windows pc windows 8 and I could see the drive and pull them onto a folder on my computer. Yesterday I had to plug them into a mac and airdrop 280 photos which took a lot of time. I then moved them to a flash drive then onto my pc. I have tried Itunes and the cloud and don't have much luck either. Any suggestions?
Thanks in advance
Mick

Hello Ray,
After backing up my photos in about four different places I format my sd cards in the camera every time.
The way it was explained to me was. Imagine a chalkboard just being erased with an eraser. Formating is then washing the chalkboard with a sponge and water and drying it off. Good fast habit to get into.

Hello Friends,
My question is about auto iso settings. In shooting indoors with my Canon 70 D and 60 D with top canon L lenses I have been avoiding flash. I use 160 or higher shutter and around 5.6 aperture in manual. The iso sometimes runs up to 3200 with some noise. In stepping up to another body would I have to go to a full-frame, or a different camera to get the higher iso? Setting suggestions would also be appreciated.
Thanks in advance
Mick

What I have been doing on vacations is I bring many SD cards and every day I change out a card. This way if you lose or damage a card you just have lost one day of memories. The WD passport is also a good tool.

Hello Rich,
I have been shooting my 60D since it came out and love it. I also have the 70D which does better in low light and is faster with updated features. I think the price is a little high. I would favor spending a little more and choose the 70 D or the 80D and you will be more satisfied. I would do some comparison shopping. Good Luck

You might want to consider Carbonite in the future. They will back up your computer and another drive. My 2TB external hard drive crashed and they moved the back up to my new external hard drive. Memories are priceless. Good luck.

Interesting. How did you narrow it down to that? Trial and error or was there a reference to this problem somewhere that indicated the battery?

After taking it to a few camera shops and having no luck I called Canon. They told me to take the battery pack off and put in a single battery. After this, I had no problem with the autofocus. I then ordered the Canon battery pack from Canon.

I had a similar issue. After checking everything out it turned out to be a bad third party battery pack. I purchased the canon brand and had no issues since.

Hello Friends,
I am using Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 5.7.1 The cropping feature seems to have changed. If I want to crop just one side it seems to crop and adjust the whole photo. Is there a way to just crop out one area and leave the rest of the photo as it was shot? I am processing raw files after being imported.
Thanks
Mick
