I had 2 strokes in 2019 and when I graduated from a wheelchair to a rolling walker I made sure to get a good one with a seat and a sizable carry bag for my gear. I have a 3-wheeler and a 4-wheeler I use. I would like one with large pneumatic tires for off-terrain. Good luck.

Just curious what everyones thoughts on joining Kelby One. Do you get a lot out of it and is it worth the money?

You will get much more "free" from YouTube as long as you hear or watch people within the genre that you want to learn. There are some great experts available.

There hasn't been much discussion lately about true pocket cameras. (Ones you can actually slip into a front pocket or cargo pants side pocket.) I know cell phones have encroached in this domain, but I curious if hoggers have a preference as to currently offered models and which one is the best.

I like the RICHO GRiii.

I saw on the link for the film everyone likes that it appears to be nd5. Would a regular nd filter 5 or above work? I read the website for the film. It states it's nd5. So am I correct to think I can use my nd filters?

It has been recommended to use a 16.5 stop filter. I would not use anything less for looking directly into the sun. It could be dangerous for you and you could damage your camera.

I have a nesting woodpecker in my front yard and wanted to set up a remote trigger on my D850 only I can't get Snapbridge to pair with my camera. Please excuse the poor quality webcam pictures of my step.
First I turned off Airplane mode
Then I turned on Bluetooth. The menu is not clear but it does say that Bluetooth is ON. First photo
The I start to pair from my Android phone. Photo 2
Under Connect to Smart Device menu I select START and the image in photo 4 pops up.
D850 shows as an available device and I select it. Photo 5
Then in photo 6 I select Pair.
The first couple of times I tried it it just didn't work and there was no error message then I started getting the one in Photo 7. I had password OFF but tried setting one and that didn't work and I don't know what pin they are talking about. Can anyone help me with this? I don't know what was wrong with a cable remote. That would be much simpler. Nikon need to work on making this quick and easy. Or maybe it's just me. Thanks

Nikon NX Tether and NX Studio are free applications. I use NX Tether and Studio and sometimes Camera Ranger II.

More than 50 Sony A9III at the recent Super Bowl. What do Sony users only, think about this ?

PetaPixel reports that “More than 50 a9 III cameras and 145 lenses were available for photographers and Sony Pro Support was on hand, too."

Kyle Rivas was one of the Sony photographers and he told to PetaPixel:
"I say if this camera’s power allows me to think at the same pace as an athlete like Mahomes and Kelce, I choose the Sony a9 III every time."

This is in addition to the Top News Services like Associated Press, Gannett Media including USA Today, Canadian Press and UK's Top New Service that exclusively use Sony gear for all their staff photographers and staff videographers, and whom already had their A9III in advance .

Did they take a knee when the National Anthem was played? Sony probably paid for it.

Perhaps by "merge" you mean blend? If so, first place one photo atop another in different layers. Then, in the Layers panel, click on the top layer to select it, and choose one of the blend modes from the pull-down box ordinarily marked "Normal."

I just sent my 22 y/o granddaughter my Canon 7D MK ii and 100-400 is ii lens. She has only used a cell phone for photos before. I sent the camera set up for wildlife photography. I need recommendations for a good source of learning about DSLR camera basics. She is a smart gal (and like most young folks nowadays) has a great background in computer software. Thanks for sharing great resources. I have a Tamron APSC 11-16mm lens I will also send her as she is interested in night photography also.

Which style is easier? Can it be made to look authentic if your subjects are posing? Is it more about the skill of the photographer or the "model"? (With most people not being professional models.)

Can a good photographer with non-models produce natural-looking but posted photographs?

Or should you try to shoot candid pictures if you want natural look and forget trying to pose people?

I consider then different genres.

Am considering buying a D500 body. I see lots on sale now from Japan and the USA.

Will Nikon USA still fix a D500? I don't think they will fix it at all IF it is not a USM - US MODEL...
so where can ONE get a D500 fixed? has anyone had experience with THIS MODEL D500?

I know IF it is a new Nikon, I know all is well in the USA if your model is USM. But after time, Nikon no longer services older cameras, so where can one get one serviced?

I also have a D800e, which is a USM model, but am not sure again IF it could get fixed IF it ever needs a repair...

Thanks for any help here

You probably can't get an authorized Nikon dealer or NikonUSA to supply parts or repair service. So what you get is what you keep without any sort of warranty from NikonUSA. They might not even to talk to you in tech support if you don't have a USA serial number.

Hello,
If you have seen me before on here, you will know that I shoot aviation. I currently own my late grandfathers D5100 and I am currently saving up to upgrade to a full frame D780, however I just learned about how much detail you lose when cropping on a full frame vs a crop sensor. If anyone owns a D780 (or at least the D750 as the D780 only has like 0.3+ mp more than the D750) for airshows, what is the quality like when you crop in vs the D850.

My plan was to save up for the D780 with the kit lens but if it looks like the D850 is gonna be better, im just gonna get the body. I use a Sigma 150-600mm C for aviation and I have currently got 1 UHS-II card 128gb intended for the D780.

lemme know your thoughts,

Thank You

You would be better-off with a Z50 and a 180-600 for air shows. You could also go with a D500 and a 200-500.

I was looking for a pocket travel camera for when I don’t want to travel with my DSLR. I spent some time looking and went to a camera store to look and feel. They seemed small in my hand. I couldn’t decide and realized the technology was in most cases 5 years old. Then I read a post on UHH about the snapgrip about the same time as the iPhone 15 came on the radar. As one prominent photographer said consider it a camera that also makes phone calls. I took it on a cruise with some port visits. I couldn’t be happier with the decision.
