Lightroom Import problem

Thanks CHG_CANON, that was the problem with the icons. Everything seems to be working fine.
Guess my 93 years are catching up! lol

Lightroom Import problem

Thanks for all the response. My error, it is 6.14.

After complete shutdown of computer all photos are intact.
I import using LR to C:\ and a copy to an external drive.
Images appear in all photographs, folders and collections,
but without any icons on previews indicating edits, keywords
or ratings. Filtering works fine.

Lightroom Import problem

I have been running Lightroom 6.17 for approximately a year with no problems.
However, today I imported with Lightroom and the images appear in my pictures folder in Explorer, but not in Lightroom catalog.
Navigator shows 45000 plus images, yet actual count is 240 thumbnails.
No icons appear on any images IE: edits, in a collection, ratings etc.
Appreciate any help,
