I've downloaded the DNG converter. Seems to be working. I do like Plogger's principle of a separate 6DII folder. Also like amfoto1 idea of TIFF-never even thought of that. Like everything in life, need to keep trying/practicing (I'm not one to give up). Thanks everyone for the support and time to respond. UHH is a great support/answer group. PS-I was wrong about PSE2021 not working.

I did that. Not having any success with that either. I shot some new raw just to work/experiment on. I can’t even find the new shots anywhere on computer. I will keep trying. Thanks everyone.

Bought 6DII. Also have 5D and 70D. I only shoot RAW. Have no problem opening RAW/CR2 in CS6 & PSE's with 5D & 70D, but cannot open 6DII to open in any program. Checked with Adobe about problem or updates for CS6; after a couple of hours chatting, they said I had a "pirated" CS6 disc (bought used on ebay). Bought PSE2021 thinking that would solve my problem. No such luck. I have tried all I know. Figured this group would have an answer. If not, going from Budweiser to hard whiskey!

We were in the lower Antelope Canon for about the same time. My wife and I agree, it is one of the most awe inspiring/mystic places we have ever been. No one should miss it.

Basically gave up. Adobe rep suggested I download free trail PSE13-which I did. Raws downloaded fine & could work on them. Will be buying PSE13-another damn learning curve!! wish I knew 1/10th as much as you people. Can't even figure out how to move for general public to read :evil:

Well Searcher, I tried the trail download but got same result. It's probably something I'm doing wrong. Not too good at this. Will probably just get PSE 13-hope it will work but will try to find more info to make sure it will work!!! Thanks for your help.

davidk--I am aware the only way to update PSE is newer version. My tech people were trying CODEC updates from Adobe. Bare with my ignorance, are there updates CODECs's for Windows/Microsoft?

Could not respond sooner because I took computer to my "computer savoy" techs. Downloaded Searcher's reply, but did not help (but thanks alot). That's when I called computer people. They said they did all kinds of updates to no avail. I hope PSE13 will solve problem! And yes, DPP did work. Again, thanks everybody. I love this forum.One more thing-Searcher, I love England!!

Just purchased Canon 70D. Cannot download raw files to my PC (Windows 7 & PSE10) or daughter's MAC. Get this message: "The file is damaged or is in a format that cannot be included in Elements Organizer." Tried to download various Adobe updates, but no success.
