Love it. I owned PS since version 1 and had subscribed to CC since it came out. I canceled CC and use Affinity Photo 99.9 % of the time. I still have PS ver 6 on my PC but have not used it since Affinity was downloaded.

I lost most of my add-ins however a lot of them have stand alone modules and I use them if I need to.

I've been a Photo Shop user since version 1 up to CC 2017. Downloaded Affinity Photo and BOOM! What a great and powerful product for the money. I canceled my monthly subscription of PS and I'm totally satisfied with Affinity Photo.

I suggest downloading the 30 day trial and see for yourself.

If you have a ton of plugins, and used them extensively, you may not want this software. I had a ton of plugins and still opted to cancel PS.

Give it a try. You wont be sorry. By the way, their tutorials are 2nd to none. Even a novice can be up and running in no time. Experts in PS will enjoy this immediately.

PS I mown PS version 6 and kept it on my PC just for the plugins. Haven't used it once but it's available for me if I wish to.

First, I'm not a professional but a Photoshop User since ver 1.

I canceded my subscription of CC after trying the trial version of Affinity. Affinity is more than enough for mme and has many many features of CC. GReat software. Would never go back to CC.

I actuall played the tutorials step by step along side of the software and found it easier then trying to memorize it. I also created a Tips n Tricks document writing out Step By Step instructions of the tutorial I'm watching..

After a few times, I nailed it and no longer have to go to my notes.

Not sorry in the least that I canceled CC. This is a great product and takes care of my needs 100%.

I still have Photoshop CS6 Extended, which I own on my PC but have never gone back to it.

Have you used it for indoor sports?

I switched from a D7100 to an M1. LOve it. Sold all my Nikon Pro glass. I wish the aurofocus was much faster and accurate for indoor basketball. Perhaps it's me not knowing how to use the M1 for sports. Will have to mess around.

Using the 40-150 2.8 Pro lens for sports. While soime of my shots came out real nice a lot were out of focus. Seems the tracking was too slow.

I've tried 4 other Top programs and each has it's own strengths and weaknesses. I decided on Pro Show Gold because their Support is 2nd to none - hardly any wait time. The others use a mail help system and may take a lot longer to get back to you on questions. Others also generalize on answers where Pro Show Gold gets right down to the detail of a problem. They can even take control of your computer and walk you through any issue that you may have.
I'm 73, a retired developer/manager and in the old days "KISS" (Keep It Simple Stupid) was the way to go. Some of the others were more complex and it became frustrating waiting for an answer.

Other support staff through eMail misunderstood my question and DID NOT answer it at all.

And finally the first software package I purchased before discovering Pro Show Gold gave me such a hard time when I requested a refund. Took weeks and many chat sessions back and forth. I purchased this package because they advertised a 1 step DVD Slide show creation function. After many tries, wasting many blank DVDs, they finally came back to me and stated that because my DVD player was old, it did not support the 1 click solution. They kepy insisting that I use a work around and I refused. Finally after weeks of back and forth, they refunded my money. In all fairness,, they had the best looking templates out of all of the others but their support was not up to par (no phone support) in my opinion.

Hi John,

Nice talking with you today. While the 150.00 is an excellent price, I'm going to pass on it right now. I have Fed taxes to pay and I'm short on money.

I'm sure it will sell quickly.

Rudy
