Boeing are having some well-deserved bad press, but their problem now is:
* Pilot taxis off runway, gets stuck - it's a Boeing
* Passengers injured in turbulence - it's a Boeing
* Wheel falls off old (badly maintained?) plane - it's a Boeing
* Engine cowling not secured and blows open - it's a Boeing
and so on.

Can only be 12 unless you have some rather convoluted logic and abandon the simple solution

Thanks, but if it was it would be for bending something small.

It looks like it could be a wire bender. The groove would hold the wire. However it does look rather complex for what should be a simple device.

The recommended temperature for a freezer is between -18 and -20 C. The ice will get down to this temperature.

The many replies saying the ice will get to 0C and not any colder are all mistaken. Water, once fully frozen, will behave like any other solid and will go down in temperature to that of its surroundings, i.e. the -20C or so of the freezer. The only two times that water, or any other substance, will stay at one temperature when heat is added or subtracted is the two transition points, i.e. changing from solid to liquid or back (0C) or to steam or back (100C), both temperatures being standard atmospheric pressure.

So I will back my earlier reply as the valid one, i.e. the ice will get down to the temperature of the freezer, normally about -18C to -20C.

If you look at the history of Window, every second version has been rubbish, or at least very ordinary, and the in-between ones great. Just go back a bit:
Win 3 - Not great
Win 3.1 - Great
Win 95 - Ho-hum
Win 98 - Great
Win Me - Rubbish
Win XP - Great
Win Vista - Ho-hum
Win 7 - Great
Win 8 - Poor with intermediate Win 8.1 only a bit better
Win 10 - Great (there was no Win 9)
If MS keeps to its previous form, Windows 11 will be a failure. So stick to Windows 10 and wait for Windows 12!

When there is lovely colour in the car, I think colour works very well. However, where the main subject is in subdued colours, such as the last shot, it would be great to have the subject car in colour and the background in B&W. For the subject in 5, the lining looks great in colour. Extra work, I know.

Cheap tools, expensive tools, makes no difference.
The problem is that there are Philips and Pozi, which are a much better development of Philips. All the chipboard screws I use are Pozi, but all (at least all I've seen) screwdriver sets supply Philips which are even worse in a Pozi screw. I always buy the correct Pozi manual screwdriver or bit for my electric screwdriver, and don't have any significant problems.

Makes me wonder: What’s wrong with people?
I have just found out - many people seem to suffer from the Dunning Kruger effect. Their wording is more complex, as befits a learned paper (Google it), but in layman's terms it means that some (most?) people are too stupid to know how stupid they really are.

It really does seem to apply with this virus. Particularly to politicians.

I think the legitimate result for 10 10 10 = 6 is

(log 10 + log 10 + log 10)! = (1 +1 +1)! = 3 x 2 x 1 = 6.

The others suggested, changing the numbers to binary, are a bit of a cheat!

Have you tried just doubling the pixel count from 72 to 144 dpi, instead of 150. No interpolation will be needed from the program so perhaps there will be less objectionable pixelation.

I haven't tried this, but it seems logical. However, you cannot put back what is not there so your results will always lack something.

Provided the gray is darker than 50% it should become black. Lighter grays will become white.

I have found that some JPGs look black but are actually slightly non-black and so will print with the colour cartridges. This usually leads to a slight tint - I use non-Canon ink so this may make it worse. If there is a problem with one colour head, there will be a very strong tint.

When printing a supposedly black JPG, I use Irfanview to make the image black and white (Image/Decrease color depth/2 colors (black/white)) and then print it. You can also save the new 2 bit image if you like.

This probably only works with a black and white image, not for shades of grey.
