I had bought a year or so ago the EyeFi card (SD) And use that when shooting jpg to wirelessly transfer form camera to iPad. Works great.. in Direct mode you can be anywhere and it will transfer pictures.. You can also buy the camera kit for the iPad. But i like the idea of being able to take a shot and have it show immediately on the iPad..

I have been using FilterStorm as my PP program when I need to clean up pictures on the road. Does anyone have any other options for PP on the iPad?

How about an iPad with camera connection kit? Just plug in your SD card and it will populate to let you view. Great device. And if you wanted to do any PP filter storm is the app I have used.

Sorry the genuine apple camera connection kit

Someone PM'ed me saying that his "genuine" Apple device didn't work, and Apple couldn't get it to work.

Mine works OK with a USB cable, so I'll stick with that.

cant you just get a eye fi sd card and send them that way. no cables needed and its faster?

I spent the better part of a day playing with my friends eye fi sd card. Conclusion: A very frustrating experience. Lost connections even when sitting in a room right next to the laptop. In theory, it looks good on paper I just don't think they have perfected it yet. I will have to say though, that their customer service support was excellent. The guy really went above and beyond trying to help me get it up and running. Final note, my friend was using a Nikon D800 and a IPad shooting outside. The eye fi card was extremely slow and spotty.

I had purchased an eyefi Card two years ago and never had an issue other then my own stupidity. Since the direct mode option was enabled other then a little slow connection (not a big deal to me) it works great.. but i use shutter-snitch for both iPhone and iPad. maybe give that a try.. Eyefi app is terrible..

Question? Anyone have experience with the fotodiox dandelion adapter with AF? I have purchased for my m42 135mm lens 2.8 i dialed in the setting per the instructions.. It shows up as mm and aperture etc.. But it just seems off. And they have told me to try fine tuning. But it seems like along process.. just wondering if anyone has had to fine tune and what setting worked for them..

Thanks,,,

I should have mentioned If using a Macbook Pro,air the Battery drain is enormous. I read where Apple is looking into this issue but if you rely on your computer off ac power i would stick with lion.. Full Charge to 0 within and hour or two max.. :( Not good..

I'm using Snow Leopard & wonder about the Mountain Lion upgrade. Has anyone done this & if so, were there any problems? I use Photoshop CS5 & Lightroom 4 & wonder if they will work properly with the upgrade. Also have some plug-ins & wonder about them.

I cannot speak for CS5 but Lightroom 4 on my end has had no problems.. I did a search before i upgraded to make sure..

Need to clarify. My lenses are manual focus so the chipped adapter merely confirms correct focus when focusing manually. There is no AF option. If there is such an adapter, I am not aware of it.[/quote]

You are correct just to confirm autofocus! Sorry if i misspoke..
I attached the fotodiox manual

m42 Af confirm manual
