At the hardware store recently I approached the checkout counter with my items.
The clerk swiped each item. The total shown on the screen came to $1.21.
I offered the young clerk a $5.00 bill, a quarter and a penny. She did not know what to do!
She finally ask me if I had any other change. I said, “no”. She tried to hand me the quarter and the penny. I refused to take it. (Just to see what she would do.)
Flustered, she called for her Manager. He came out and made the proper change for me. (Four ones, and a nickel). The look he gave me told the whole story!

this is a lie the register will make the change when she rings it up. Please dont fill threads with lies trying to look witty or smart you suck at it. and stop making up stories you suck at that too. BTW what store is this that does not have a register that makes the change for you.

I'm on disability not by choice. and the money i get every month is in no way gona make me rich or even come close to it. I have a reason i get a check terminal cancer and degen disk problems. I used to build houses thats what i learned to do. now i cant walk more than 10 feet without falling. I dont like the way some on here think I'm a leach becaise i get a check. Not thinking that I also paid into the fund for many years. and will have paid in more than i will live to get. But there are people who get that same check that hop on there full dress hogs and play 4 hour sets in the bar every week end. And i know these people from a friend. these are not my friends there his. I in no way feel I am the same as these people. But to some on here because i got cancer and my back stoped letting move or work I'm a leach. or a parasite!

Jimmy,
What is it about everyone's response to you that causes you offense? Look, I graduated in 2011 with a Bachelor's degree and the only reason my school continues to contact me is to solicit money for the Alumni Fund...that's it. While I was at school, I had the utmost of attention from them in every department of the school to help me accomplish getting my degree. They gave me the tools to use but now it's entirely up to me to use what I've learned...on my own! It's kind of like learning to ride a bike for the first time. Someone was there to help me learn, but once I stayed up and rode without falling down, my parents never came to me again to see if I could still ride, there wasn't any follow-up.

I've read every other person's post on here who responded and, sure enough, I read some VERY GOOD advice for you to use...but you have to do it on your own.

Someone asked the question, "What did you expect the school to do after you graduated," but you never responded. Did you think they were going to hand you a job for all your hard work?

I don't know if you're willing to accept what I suggest but this would be a great thing to do. I'm sure you still have contact information with the school, maybe even with all of your instructors. If you don't, the school would probably get that for you. Once you have the contact info, start emailing those instructors to see if they are aware of any photographers in your area. If so, then contact them...all of them. Submit samples of your new work, photos that you've taken AFTER completing the course. Ask for their critique. Just do something because everything in this life that's worth having requires effort, patience, and perseverance. Good luck to you. And, by the way....STOP SHOUTING! It hurts all of our cyber-ears!

I think this thread is stupid.

some people on here need to feel they are special. your gear will play a big role in the outcome of any pic. thats a simple fact that some cant get over. the camera pro is a shrinking market. with the new point and shoots cell phones with awesome cameras. this thread will bring out the ones who think there special. this will be fun to watch, even the fact that this is spose to be a forum for people to lean on, there are many here who think that they are better and dont come here to help.

OK on this forum there are people who tell to to run away you cant do this! these are the people that need too feel that the are better and can do better! the dslr tech scares them, because as tech moves on it slowly taken away what made them feel specail. if we all listen to there run away thoughts we woud all live in caves and grunt at each other. I have the cannon t4i and believe me my 3 year old grandson can get a good shot with it! also have a friend that shot a wending for he brother useing nothing but a iphone 5 with some pretty cool aps. You see tech is slowly taking away what make them feel they are better. dont pay atention to them. Your family thinks yo can do it and so do I. The key here is to research you tube is your friend. look up lighting and the common pics that are taken at a weding. ASK WHAT PICS ARE IMPORTANT TO THEM. Practice. And remember tech is only trying to move us faster to an end result. we used to have to use flash powder for a flash lol. Yo have great gear learning to use it is fun. and please dont listen to the people that are want you to run. YOU CAN DO IT
