Hi; In my opinion, if the red chairs are your subject, there is tooooooo much extraneous stuff (the trees, the sky and the water) going on in the shot. Consider,if you will, cropping the image based on the so-called unwritten "Rule of 3rds" giving a better perspective of the main subject.

Hi, GREAT shot!!! My only suggestions would have been to crop it tighter (see example) to eliminate the distracting objects in the upper left and lower right corners. I also cloned out the "sparkly" reflections from the snow.

Hi, Walt here! Pix #1 needs cropping. Too much of the background hills and sky and the boats on the bottom are cut off. Pix #2; The horizon needs straightening and the back of the boat on the left is cut off. The primary boat is too centered. Try to use the rule of thirds when composing or cropping. Pix #3; Eliminate the automatic dater or clone it out of the picture. The dater spoils any effect you're trying for. Nonetheless, keep shooting and good luck!

Hi...great shots of the tree frog! Beautiful colors and sharp focus. However, I would suggest a bit of cropping (see below) to make the frog stand out more. The picture of the Italian town is awesome as well. The Ocelot appears to me to be a bit out of focus. Next time, try focusing in on an ear or a tail and the rest of the image would be sharper. The bridge shot also seems to be a tad fuzzy as well. Keep shooting & good luck!

A lot of contests won't accept the first one beacuse it has an identifiable registration numner unless you have a property release from the boat's owner. In my opinion, #2 would be ok if cropped tighter. #3 would be good to go, I think, if the image was a tad darker to make the boat sand out a bit more. Just my thoughts. Good luck with the contest.

Sorry to rain on your parade but square images don't appeal to me at all. I would have taken the first shot at a different angle to get a better perspective on the car itself. I would also have tightened the shot to get rid of the hand rail on the lower left and the buildings in the background. Also, shooting on an overcast day is never a good idea. The interior looks better in b&w, but, again, the squareness bothers me. I try to take wider shots of subjects to allow for multiple cropping opportunities. The truck was doing about 70mph on an interstate and the image isn't all that sharp but it's an example of how one shot can become several.

Hi & welcome! Interesting image. The shadow in the lower left should be cropped or cloned out. Maybe a tighter horizontal or vertical crop would work. Keep shootin' & Good luck!

Hi, I like the picture, clouds and all. As a vertical image, I don't think it works for me. I did a horizontal crop and left everything else as it was in the original shot.
