I have owned the Panasonic FZ10, 20, 30 and the FZ150. Plus 3 of the Fuji Super Zooms and the Sony DCS-HX100V all of which have served me well. My logic is that for around $500 I could not begin to touch a decent telephoto lens for my DSLR with 24X or greater range. With the new found speed and shot to shot times of the newer cameras I have been able to get some much better shots. Now the FZ 200 with its constant F2.8 and 12 shot per second rates will be my next super zoom. I also have the 1.4 and 2x extenders for moon shots. These cameras are perfect for the Moms and Dads who take all the sports shots of their kids from the stands with their long reach.Plus us nature guys can get a few birds along the way. Also when I go on vacation I did not want to drag my big iron along. I take a pocket camera and the superzoom. I also don't stand out with my big white lens.

Great, I bought a Northgate 286 with a 16 Mhz Harris CPU which was the fastest machine of its day since the Intel CPU was at 8 Mhz along with the 68000 in my Mac Plus. I lived in Plymouth, MN in 1987 where they were located. I use to see them bring computers and keyboards to the post office for shipping each day. I went on to buy several keyboards for each new computer I bought and even have the OminKey Mac versions with the ADB adapters etc. I always thought they were the best with the tactile feel. Guess I better break them out of mothballs and check them out! Thanks for the reminder.
