It is true that Republicans kept him from achieving many other things he wanted to achieve. But your statement is the usual Republican hyperbole. It is false.

I do agree Richard. I believe Obama choose to allow his opponent to think him timid. No doubt I could be wrong, but Obama is a sharp man, a lot sharper than Romney. Let's wait to determine the debate winner after they are finished.

I cringed when Romney's wife said he looks for her in the audience for approval after every point he makes as a speaker. What does that say about the guy? Would he need her to instill confidence in him with the decisions he makes as President......if he could be President? I simply don't like the guy. He says what he thinks you want to hear in so many conflicting situations. I've watched him all along, thinking he might have been my choice, but he's such a panty waist and seems like such a phony using that "nice guy" voice of his. No, he has tuned me off even though I'm registered Republican.

Besides, he must have moss growing on his foot for the many times he's put it in his mouth.

Good luck to you all!

OK here's the deal:

Hobo Hedgehog is seeking a trip around the world on the cheap (for him anyway). I'm going to start a sign up list of people on this thread who want to host Hobo for 10 days to 2 weeks and show him around where they live. Then the current host will Private Message the next person on the list, get a mailing address and pass him on to the that person. He wants to get around the world but expects to criss-cross larger, heavily populated countries along the way and is prepared to cross large bodies of water more than once, he is a hobo after all. The current host is responsible for all shipping charges to the next destination, Hobo is a hobo after all and doesn't have any money.

Hobo is very photogenic so I would ask you to post your 3 favorite shots of his stay with you on this thread but as many as you want on a different thread that you start yourself.

The list on this thread would consist of host name and general location (city, state, country). Actual physical addresses would be sent between current host and next host on the list by PM only! Hobo is hinting that he owes some people some money and doesn't want to be easily found but does want to taunt the 'bill collectors' with photos of where he has been ;-). but not specifically (street address) where he is headed.

The Rules

1. If you sign up, please keep him traveling and don't break the chain. If you have a crazy two weeks with bad weather while you are his host perhaps some photos of him at your kitchen table, watching TV, or even posting on UH will do. Not everybody can get a shot of him at Hoover Dam, the Grand Canyon, or the Empire State Building.

2. Don't add or subtract anything from the package. You should receive Hobo, his bundle on a stick and a list of people and locations where he has been in a reusable cardboard box. If the box gets wet or damaged beyond repair, by all means replace it, but only when necessary.

3. Have fun, show him around your area, maybe even that place that you keep telling yourself you will go to someday, go there with him. Activities are good too, weddings, birthday parties, holiday celebrations, anything goes, he is a bit of a party animal.

To sum up: Keep him moving on down the line. Don't add or subtract anything from the package. Have fun, take lots of photos and post your favorite three photos here.

Any questions? Ask away! I'll start his first two week stint here in Jonesborough TN and then send him on to his next destination.

He is eager and ready to go soon.

Eric
OK here's the deal: br br Hobo Hedgehog is seekin... (show quote)

Hi Eric, I'd love to host one of the guys. I will be patient as I know my request is way down on the list.

We have a lovely guest room, but if he is uneasy alone in a strange place, my cats are sweet and both males and have a nice bed they wouldn't mind sharing.

I live in Northern California on the 49er trail, so can take him to some great historical and beautiful places with lovely valleys, lakes, rivers, pine trees and blue skies and white clouds. Also, have horses so he can learn about them and maybe even ride.

Thank you.

I've been looking at your list of submitted photos. Not down to the end yet. You have really branched out. Love your photos: color, composition, subject, softness and light. Just beautiful. (Especially liked the lady bug on the red zinna on another thread ;) )

[quote=Greg-Colo]Over Trail Ridge to Grand Lake. We stopped at the Grand Lake Lodge for lunch. Four ladies in their 70's showed up for lunch in this.....

Beautiful photos, Greg! Love the car. Went to a car show last week and took some photos. None looked like this. What year was it built? It looks older than 70.

I imagine Colorado is turning gorgeous colors all over. Great photo ops. You have a great eye. Your camera is lucky.

It is sometimes difficult to find a situation to photograph for the challenge, but we do have a week to do it. It is, after all, a challenge. If one isn't able to accomplish it within that week, perhaps in keeping with the intent, one should not submit a photo by simply pulling it out of the archives. There is no challenge in that. I know, I've done it myself and have since simply not submitted one if I didn't have it. Whether I have one to submit or not, I always support those who do, and vote. Trouble is, my vote gets into fractions as we have such great submissions.

My nephew is a lifetime Marine. He is not an Obama man but said it was disturbing that military men were placed in that scenario. I agree. It's suggestive, giving the subconcious intent. Whatsamatta with you??????? Plus, it there are those who would think the military men in the photo represent all military!!! Come...........on, Joyfully!!!!! I have nothing more I can say. The more I think about this, the more angry I feel. Don't want to reply in anger.

Sorry, could not find the info on CNN for 2011.

With a 400k a year job and the books, which I could not find a good figure, between 1.2 million and 5.3 million, how did he make so much money? I think that is as important a question as Romney's tax returns.

It doesn't matter to them what the question is, they always turn on a conservative as the one at fault.

I doubt very much that Romney has broken any tax laws. My interest in Romney's tax returns is pretty simple. He only paid 13.9% rate on his 2010 taxes and I want to see how much his proposed tax cuts for the wealthy are going to benefit him. I think a lot of his policies are designed to benefit himself and his few wealthy friends. And Obama has released 10 years of tax returns. They are public record.

Me, too. No matter Dem. or Rep., I'd like to know. He's turning to his church to shield him.

BigBear, you do have a very big roar. Just because you don't agree with someone...Dem. or Rep., you needn't call names. You are coming from your anger rather than your logic. Have a great day. I love that we are free to express our opinions.

This is my stallion PT Cruiser getting gelded. He has leasions on his testicles that could have turned into cancer so I made the choice to turn him into a gelding to save his life. PT has babies from coast to coast and in Australia. I have frozen semen from him so he can still have foals. I hope I don't gross anyone out. He will now be shown and much loved by a teenager who could not show him before because he was a stallion.

He is absolutely gorgeous, and lucky he has you to love him.

Had a few minutes to revisit the daily challenge. My gosh, I cannot believe how very beautiful the photos are. I couldn't stop looking and went through all 17 pages which took more than a few minutes. Some were spectacular, all were wonderful! Thank you for sharing the beauty that you saw through your cameras.
