I am driving from Virginia to Naples, Florida, using I95 and I75. Due to the closing of the National Wildlife Refuges, I am in need of suggestions as to locations for bird and wildlife photos along this route. Any help will be appreciated, especially Georgia and Florida. Thanks.

I second all the remarks. One of the best wild life shots I have seen.

I am also right eye dominant. A couple of years ago I developed a problem with my right eye which does not allow this eye to be used. I started using my left eye for to focus the camera. I have not experienced any problems in doing the change and after a short time I do not even think about it.

I have a similar Kodak folding camera which I purchased used in the mid-1940s. My first photography effort. Kodak Vigilant Six-20. Inside is a label stating "Use Kodak 620 film. Caution this camera does not take 120 film." I would think that your camera could take 120 film.

The replies have certainly made my day brighter. The tears have also served to clean my eyes. The people making the replies should get together and write for the late night shows. If anyone came in and saw me alone and laughing out loud would think I was nuts. Maybe I am.

If this is one of your first commercial sales, and he is NOT going to SELL the posters, you may wish to charge him a nominal fee for his limited use of the image just for the FREE posters which includes ADDING your name on the image followed by (c) 2012.

That provides some free name recognition and publicity for you, you meet his immediate need, and perhaps open the door for other opportunities with him (or other racers.) Seems like a win-win for both of you if negociated right and in good faith. If you get too carried away with legally securing your ownership of the image he may just go elsewhere. Just limit its use for a a nominal fee and hope he abides by that agreement. Form a relationship, not a transactional contract.

Getting your name out there in a positive way is far more valuable than going overboard to protect one image with a lot of paperwork. By definition, it is already your work and getting a copyright does not prevent unauthorized use. IMHO.

I have used the Yongnuo YN460 II flashes (2) along with my canon 580 EXII in both in the studio and outside. All off camera. Matched with Yongnuo 603 triggers, I have not experienced any problems and get good results.

Beautiful bird and something we do not have here in the UK. Have you ever seen the Gold finch that is one of our prettier birds? If not I could post a picture of one for you to see?

Hi Bruce,
Thank you and this is a small, delicate bird that usually congregate in flocks??(is that the right terminology)

A very beautiful bird. I do not know of and like it in the states. The Gold Finch on this side of the pond is mostly yellow with some black. Thanks for sharing.

According to bird books I have gone through as well as talking to other people that know birds, this is called a purple finch. (Still trying to figure that one out) Nice shots.

May I disagree? With the brown streaks on the belly, its a house finch. The purple finch is a deeper red, but still red rather than purple.
