I'm so sorry for your loss. They are truly man's best friend and we all hurt when we lose a friend.
I would tone down the tree limb. Simple question, "What is the subject?" Answer that and get rid of everything else. Very nice shot.
Welcome and well done. Look forward to seeing more.
Welcome,
Very nice shots. Love the colors and the subjects. Look forward to seeing more.
Niclye framed, like them all but like the first one the best. No reason, just like it.
I somewhat agree, but when I look at the samples of the D800 I'm blown away. One big advantage of that large of a file is you can crop a large amount and still have a killer picture. I read one article that hinted that one could shoot with a 200mm lens and crop down and have the same picture that it would have taken a 600mm lens to shoot. With the high cost of quality long lenses it might make sense. But you are right, quality glass makes the most difference.

Late afternoon just walking around the yard bored and I see this, not a great photo but I liked the colors
First one has nice colors and good lines. Thanks for sharing Tad. 8-)
I agree, nice composition and color of a so-so subject. Well done
If people don't complain at least three times a day that your prices are to high, then they are to low. I wouldn't price each the same. I would put a premium on the bridge shot. You'll be surprised. I'll bet you sell the most of the highest priced picture. People like to have the best!
Nice pics. Communicating movement in still pictures is a challenge but when it is done well, it should tell a story. Here is one that the dust and the leaning of the rider in the corner communicates the action

Well you asked for it it seems that you will have a lot of pictures of movement...once summer hits full swing the Street rods start their Rod nites on the streets of the city. Motion and Movement all in the same place ...stay tuned!!!
Bring it on. I'll be going to Leesburg Bike Fest at the end of April. Should get some interesting shots.
Cool, I know exactly where you took the first shot from. Since I'm usually in the paddock area I rarely was able to get away from either turn 17 or turn 1. Here are couple more.
1 ISO 200, 120mm lens, f18, 1/80 sec
2 ISO 200, 100mm lens, f22, 1/20 sec
3 ISO 320, 55mm lens, f4.0, 1/25 sec (out of turn 1 headed your way)
Intrepid out of 17B
DHL out of 17b
Porche 80 out of turn 1 at dusk
