I'm so sorry for your loss. They are truly man's best friend and we all hurt when we lose a friend.

What a heartbreak....such a beautiful dog...I had to put my Dukie Boy (yellow lab) down last May and it was very difficult...They give so much love and attention...I'm sure you will miss her so...

The joy they instill for years is more than outweighed by the sorrow of their passing, but it still hurts something awful.

My heart goes out to you. Loosing your best friend is not easy and nothing can take away your pain. Read "The Rainbow Bridge", the unedited version. I hope you find the solace in it that I did when I lost one of my best friends, Blue, last year.

Yes, it will be a hard few days. She always slept by my bed. Sorry about Dukie Boy. Labs are such great companions.
