Thanks everyone for the nice comments, they are much appreciated. This is from the Little Bighorn reenactment. There is a week (or so) long cavalry school that culminates with 3 performances of the reenactment. The Indians are local kids who have a ball.

Thanks Pat. I'm pretty excited for next weekend; theres a big rodeo taking place, and I plan to attend. Hope its cooler then. It's 107 here today.

These shots are from a Rodeo I attended in June. Despite the sloppy conditions, there were no injuries to people or animals. Sorry for the poor quality of the Bull riding photos. It was pretty dark. I was at iso 8000 f/2.8 1/500

I shot these last weekend at a rodeo near my home. These horses are amazing athletes, and they love to buck.

I love the warm tones and rich textures. The flowers pull your eye right back to the center. All of that makes for an interesting, enjoyable photo.
