A soft, classy, coppery beauty, Carla! Love it! I like your lighting, and your composition itself is a thing of beauty! Nice work!!!

The reflections in the pot add interest to an already stunning composition and highly creative concept, Carla. I love it!

Thank you so much,TP! It was a bit of work to minimize the reflections. There is a north window light and daylight was just too much, showing all the crap in the room and I didn't have any idea where to move it to. So waited until evening for a bit darker mood.

Thank you,Linda, I really appreciate your encouragement. The reflections were a bit overwhelming and a lot of work. I just don't seem to have an area that doesn't have "stuff", and I don't know how to hide the tripod very well.

I love the warm tones and rich textures. The flowers pull your eye right back to the center. All of that makes for an interesting, enjoyable photo.

I love this shot, Carlysue, you captured the tones and colors just right with just the right amount of light reflection on the pot. Nice work.

Thank you so much for taking the time to look and comment, Ace-Mt, and especially for the encouraging comments. Reflections are a lot of work in a still life and even though I probably shot an excessive amount of images, I'm not sure I have what I want yet.

Thank you,Walt. I should give Pierre some acknowledgement for helping me with the lighting. His images are inspiring.

Thank you,Bill. I know its been a while. I have been playing with the layers, masking techniques. Its still a challenge and it doesn't seem to come automatic for me.
