One can always ask for forgiveness afterwards.
Looking for anyone here that’s been (or other place along the route) and has some helpful spots/places to shoot established Sunrise/Sunsets. Flying into Grand Junction, CO and will arrive mid-morning. Basically i'll have a half day+ at the Colorado National Monument. Hoping to shoot sunset there and drive to the Arches that night, wake up there and shoot the sunrise Then ditto to Canyonland, Staircase, Capitol Reef, Bryce Canyon, Zion and ending it in Vegas for some Night Street-lights photos. My plan is to take the entire day shooting at each park.
If nothing else.....i love your sense-of-humor. Our country needs more of it. Enjoy!
What would (if you decide to) you sale me the 24-70mm for?
Hello all,
Over the w/e the wife and I are trying to finalizing our trip itinerary to Yellowstone. So i thought of one last resource for some good info for our trip and i'm asking for ANY help for the ones have been there. Info as in places to go for the best photography shots. Also, if you've stayed at a cabin, cottage, etc. that info is always welcomed.
Our stay will begin.....Arrive on May 4th noonish through May 12th. As of now we will fly into Idaho Falls (but is adjustable) and begin at Grand Teton for Two (2) days/nights then drive North on Hwy 191 (Rockefeller Pkwy.) and entering through the South End. After that it's somewhat up in the air and was hoping this is where you all could direct us with ideas from here on. I'm adding my email if there's info/links you would rather send that way versus over this site.
Thanks for any and all your insight here.

Anyone have one in good shape for sale?
You must've been born a Photographer then.
Thanks all.....We're driving up from Atlanta next Tuesday afternoon to Boone, NC and stay the night there. Wednesday am will be at the Rough Ridge for Sunrise. Then truckin' down the parkway for 3-4 days depending how many stops we make along the way. Ending at the Big Witch Overlook. Then last full day will be heading across the Cherohala Pkwy from Robbinsville to Tellico Plains.
Whats the best lens for shooting Mountain views from a distance. I will also be doing a few Waterfalls along the way. I was told 70-200mm and 10-20mm.
Thanks,
Makes sense....thanks everyone!
I'm quite certain i would never have dual monitors. So that wouldn't be an issue for me.
thanks,
Does anyone use a curved monitor for photo-editing? If so, are you satisfied w/ finished results versues using a flat screen? I'm in the process of a new monitor and was looking at some over the weekend and was hoping to get enough feedback here from one's that have actually had/using one versus reviews written by who knows who.
Preesh!
Here's a couple of action shots i did over the weekend using the BB focus button. Lock in the subject and follow until it stops.
