Thanks for the replies. I will check on Google maps to see how much further it would be to go to Blackwater NWR.
Has anyone been there recently? How is the activity? I may have a chance to get there next weekend and want to know if it's worth the 6 hr drive each way?
Hi Lou, These are from three different drive ins, two in Massachusetts, Seekonk and North Attleboro and the other is in Central Falls Rhode Island.
Thanks everyone. The time I had to be able to go, has gone! But thanks for all the input. I will try and get there in Nov/Dec and I may hit some of the other suggestions as well.
Thanks Again!
I just google mapped it, about 3.5 hrs closer to me. I doubt that there is any Ice on the hudson after the weather we have had recently! Will there still be a lot of birds around? When was the last time you were up that way?
Thanks for the Info and the great shots!
Has anyone been to Conowingo in the last few days? I have some time and was thinking of going down there but it is a 7 hr drive each way and I was hoping that someone close by could tell me how many eagles are around and if its worth the trip. I would spend a nite there so any info on where to stay would help also. Thanks in advance.
Some 30+ year old slides that I recently scanned with an Epson V600. No PP. They are from an old photo project.
I Agree with Rstipe, They are not even close to the same lens.
I have purchased a camera body and other items from Cameta (online) over the years and always had great service and pricing. I have called several times on different things and always spoke to someone knowledgeable and helpful. If they reopen I hope things will continue they way they were.
PS Last week, I purchased a Manfrotto Tripod from Cametta through Amazon and it has shipped and due to arrive tomorrow.
Where is the slot canyon? I am sure its a long way from Massachusetts but it is definitely on my bucket list.
Is it a one day excursion?
Thanks, that should get me better scans.
I don't think it will help getting the scanner to separate one neg from the next when its all black in between.
I recently purchased an Epson 600 scanner and have been putting tons of negatives through it with good results. The two main problems I have are getting the resulting scans at a size larger than a large thumbnail when I use a setting other than the auto mode. 2nd is that when I scan B &W negs that are thin around the edges, it does not know where one ends and the next begins, as in this example from a concert. Unfortunately I am not much of a PP person yet and I am just trying to get some of these old negs uploaded.
Thanks in advance for your help with this.
Just Curious, Why in 1997 does Georgia need a covered bridge? Still a lot of horse drawn wagons fighting through the snow in Georgia?
