Finally able to comment. Between computer issues and being ill...I haven't been inspired. Just want you to know I'm still here....like the song says.

Didn't go to any fireworks...They don't have them way out here...but here's the best I could do...from Argentina.

Our courthouse is relatively new. The old one was pretty much destroyed in the only earthquake we've ever had in 1993.

Thank you, Shar...would you believe there was no flash allowed? The lighting is only what was available. A lot of the photos have too much yellow...hoping to process it out.

Gg, that first one is soooo cute.... And that last one.. What can I say?

Turbo, I really like yours. Especially the last one. The bird adds so much

Goddess, wow the lighting on yours is so great

Annette, my favs are Lincoln and the elephant

Have you tried a custom white balance when you can't use flash? I just learned how to set a custom white balance on my camera. I need to buy an 18% Grey Sheet to use as the base. Have you ever done anything like that? My first attempts have been surprising, generally good. Read about it on UHH - one of the forums or questions.

We also went to the King Tut exhibit in Seattle, only on Memorial Day Sunday. Amazing exhibit! That day they were having the NW Artists' Festival at Seattle Center, along with the Chihuly glass house opening! What a week
end to visit Seattle....and no rain!

Statues? Did someone say statues......On Friday, we went to the King Tut exhibit. It was a birthday present from Randy...I took over 400 pictures, so here's a couple of quick ones for the challenge.
