Welcome to Day 187 :) Today it's all about the Fireworks. Mine turned out kinda sucky .. so I hope y'all had better luck than I did. Next year I'm going out of my way to use the tripod. Here are a few not so great examples .. but they are all I have .. I look forward to seeing what y'all come up with.

You don't like your fireworks?? I think they are very nice. Just takes LOTS of trial and error, and for no more often that we get to see them, probably will take YEARS for most of us to get really good at photographing them. YOURS are a LOT better than not being able to get ANY!!! And here is something you can do with them..... I 'snatched' your #7 and used PSPx4

Hi, photogrl57. Couldn't get out to fireworks tonight, so had an idea. Rather than pass up this subject, I shot some of the Macy's fireworks off the tv with intent to crop, etc., to make them mine. Would that be acceptable? If I were standing where their camera was, I'd get the same view. I still have my camera on manual, so it kind of feels a bit unfair to submit them.

Please give me your thoughts.

I thought I'd show you some of the highlights from the baseball game before the fireworks ... Tucson lost 8-3 but who cares lol I had a good time. I sat next to a 4 year old that talked my ear off the entire time lol.

these 2 kids had to have the bat on their forehead and turn in a complete circle 10 times then run down field






these two had to unfold frozen tshirts put them on then run down field




the mascot tripped this guy as he was bouncing down field lol


I tried to catch a shot of the ball as it got there .. but this dude swung the bat so fast it disappeared


this guy played America the Beautiful .. he was really good

there were two firework shows in my town this year and because of the wildfires we were on a level 2 fire ban. (You can imagine what the traffic was like) You can't even smole outside. None from this year but here are a few from last year. We just decided to stay home and cook. we had our chinese friend over for dinner, he has only been her efor a year but he said it was the best day in america. Plus he ordered a camera so we can go take pictures together!
