there were two firework shows in my town this year and because of the wildfires we were on a level 2 fire ban. (You can imagine what the traffic was like) You can't even smole outside. None from this year but here are a few from last year. We just decided to stay home and cook. we had our chinese friend over for dinner, he has only been her efor a year but he said it was the best day in america. Plus he ordered a camera so we can go take pictures together!

They ban them here too because its so dry .. great photos .. pg 1

I thought I'd show you some of the highlights from the baseball game before the fireworks ... Tucson lost 8-3 but who cares lol I had a good time. I sat next to a 4 year old that talked my ear off the entire time lol.

Welcome to Day 187 :) Today it's all about the Fireworks. Mine turned out kinda sucky .. so I hope y'all had better luck than I did. Next year I'm going out of my way to use the tripod. Here are a few not so great examples .. but they are all I have .. I look forward to seeing what y'all come up with.

p1 I like them a lot, Sherrie!

I did go to the fireworks last night after all. But, I didn't have the settings set on my camera or anything set up so this was as good as it was gonna get.

Here are a few that I have. All taken with an 18-200mm lens set at 26mm, F11, 2 to 5 second exposure. On a tripod with a cable release and the IS off.

Finally able to comment. Between computer issues and being ill...I haven't been inspired. Just want you to know I'm still here....like the song says.

Didn't go to any fireworks...They don't have them way out here...but here's the best I could do...from Argentina.
