Took these at Land's End on Homer Spit this past August, with a 70-300mm F4.5/5.6 on a D500 at 1/1000 sec, f5.6, ISO 800, and at 300mm. The camera was set on 10fps burst. The flying pics were more in self-defense than anything prepared.
They are all of the same eagle. All except the first are uncropped. I do wish I had been at 200 or 250 or something less than 300, but when this happens you go with what you have.

Good shots thanks for sharing

Curious - - the rear wheel on the left has the tread ridges in a V-Shaped chevron
The treads on the OTHER wheel are aligned parallel - - wonder how THAT happened ??

My thinking is that the wheels are two separate pieces, and the right was re-mounted the wrong way. Why? ??

Use to call them "Japanese beer cans" and they rusted terribly. People stopped buying for a while, then Japan got smart, realized they had to improve quality control, did, and look where they are now.
