You have to love the nudis. Beautiful!
Those of us who dive know heaven is also beneath the waves.
Nice shots. I am off to Yap next month to do a little diving with mantas.
California nudis... beautiful. I fell in love with these critters as a little girl hunting in the tide pools in Newport and Corona.
always love looking at underwater photos. On my way to Tubbatha next month.
Thanks to you all for saving that portrait. When I think of George Eastman I think of Martin and Osa Johnson; heroes of mine while watching their travelogs on TV in the 50s. They sparked my love of travel ventures for life.
Where is Brenda? I miss her comments.
Beautiful shots. I cannot stand diving in cold water so thank you for letting us vicariously dive along with you. California water was cold enough for me.
Happy to hear you have a good photo with the tips on the starfish.
Nice camera and set-up, but I did not notice a strobe. What are you using for light?
If you live anywhere near Las Vegas you might consider coming to the DEAm show in November. Lots of demonstrations and exhibits on uw photography as well as seminars.
Number 1 nice starfish...I hope you got it all in your original photo, the tip of one of the arms is missing.
Number 2 octopus. I like the pose, but you need more light or post-processing to make it stand out.
Number 3 Rocks and a funny likeness of an angel fish with lip stick.
Keep shooting, it takes practice and more practice.
What kind or camera were you using?????
I love your idea of a piece of obsidian for a smooth black surface. I have to hand it to you for diving in that kind of viz.
a beauty indeed!!! Where were you diving?
Joe, I am a uw photographer, but love these shots.
Love the Navanax sp. Your description of the water reminds me of why I disliked diving in a marina, but that is where you find the best stuff.
