without the orange patch on it head probably not but still a sparrow. Maybe a house or possibly a white-throated ?

In photos posted some time ago the Cross had fallen into a sad state of repair but with the care of some serious people and some cooperation it has come back to full glory

The leaves here in central Illinois are mostly still color or summer or have turned brown and have fallen. However, in looking into the trees in front of my home I did happen to see something that may be disturbing?
