For an engineer, he has too many "brain fart" brain cells (in my opinion!!)
9 birdies and shoots par?? (first round of Fedex Cup)

Mark, one thing to keep in mind. When I was advised that one of the engineers, whose computer I was to administer, was an MIT graduate. My comment was that every graduating class had a bottom 10%, as well. It was a point well taken, at least by those having to work with her.

Best scorecard I ever saw was Sam Snead's round of 9 with all 3's.

I always hear that the A's make the researchers, B's make the teachers and C's make the money?

I'm prejudiced, but I'll take the Teachers!! I'm not impressed with all those who "make money".

Well he is the guy that missed the Olympics rather than get vaccinated. Brain farts aren’t surprising.

Maybe I'm reading the scorecard incorrectly, but he seems to have had multiple bogeys (5) and a couple of double bogeys...

"ofc" ??? Not familiar with that.
Where and when did Snead shoot 27 for nine holes. I've searched for it, but I've not been successful.
Thanks, Steve!

And it is not always the case that the teachers are the B's. I worked with some who were A's because teaching is what they wanted to do. Unfortunately I also worked with some C's and even D+'s because there was a shortage of teachers when they were hired. ESL teachers hired from Spain and Central America whose English was so poor the students complained about it and I could hardly carry on a conversation with them. Most of them became excellent teachers of ESL (English as a Second Language) once their own English improved but a few....!

I for one started wanting to be a teacher in 3rd grade - and that is what I kept aimed at until I got it and retired after 34+ years (and 1 year of unpaid student teaching). I intended to teach until our youngest went off to college, I would have been 68, but stress and diabetes problems combined to make me finally listen to my wife and retire at 62, I had been at the top of the scale for my pension for 2 years already anyway.
The day I announced I was retiring (got sick on the side of the road going to work, told them I was retiring as I signed in) I started telling my students and other teachers I was retiring and by the end of the day I was feeling better and kept feeling great for the last 3 months of the school year.

I had a friend that tried out for the PGA Tour(is that the right word?). He said that making 10 foot putt for $100 is a whole lot easier than making a 3 foot putt to make the cut.
