I am from Lufkin , about 20 miles south of Nacogdoches , the landscape is Pines and Hardwood with a somewhat hilly terrain , especially on Highway 21 east and west (El Camino Real), the pines start to clear out as you get closer to I-10 , and up past I 20 , lots of history here .

When the diagonal cut pieces are moved this reduces the size of the small squares when matched up to the other diagonal cut peices on opposite sides , when put back makes room for the extra pieces. Melismus is correct.
I used 18-55 kit lens , cropped it about 25%.
Thanks for all of the comments , I shot these with my Nikon D5100 w/ 18-55 kit lens . I love this camera.
Follow your dream , my brother-n-law started photography in his senior year of high school , working for the local news paper, doing mostly sports shots , went from there to Ohio Institute of Photography , from there leased a shop in downtown , in less than 8 years he has built a very profitable business , currently working on his 3rd Million in sales , weddings , senior pics ,etc. he lives and breathes photography, when clients hire you and send you all over the U.S. to photgraph their wedding , you have to be good at what you do. Do not get discouraged , follow your passion.
My brother n law is the owner of Nantz Photography in New Castle , In . He uses Jack's Camera Shop and gets very good service with them.
I really like your post , they are very interesting . Hate to see you go . I thought that I would add this bit of information on how the human mind works as far as reading goes. Here is an [unsigned] article which is making the e-mail circuit. It tries to prove that all of us read with a whole word approach.

These are great shots , how close were you , and what lens did you shoot with?
I have had my D5100 about a month , I see the same thing that is in your picture , looking at it under 23 watt 4100k florescent lamps . I have had no problems with mine.
Very nice . Thanks for the post.
Yes, I do have more , tried to post them on this topic and could not post. Afraid to create a new topic , I have already gotten scolded for using caps. :(
