Shot these with a Nikon D5100 , with an AF-S 55-200MM lens, probally a little to far away . Please take it easy on me , always used a point and shoot , finally got this D5100 .

Thanks , I bought David Busch's book on the D5100 , he pretty well covers every aspect of the camera and then some.

Nice picture, its not easy to get close enough to get a good picture with a 200mm lens. I shot last week with a 300mm and then with a telescope lens of 600 and 1000 and hope you won't mind if I post on your thread. The eagle was most cooperative and let me take about 200 pictures. I liked the 600 the best. I did do a little cheating on it and gave it a new background as the original background was blown out
