My favorite hummingbird photo from our yard this summer. They have been scarce so happy to get the chance to get this one.

That is true. Maybe I will figure it out when it snows this winter....

Nice photos. You seem to have the same problem with a white subject as I have with my white cat. Part of the body gets blown out even in natural light. I shoot in manual mode, but still have the same problem.

Took these just down the street from our house near a ditch. He was catching grasshoppers.

I haven't seen it in person yet. Maybe one day I will catch him with my zoom lens and look at his eyes....

I've never heard of a white deer before. It needs to have red eyes, I think, to be an albino, but I could be wrong. That is what I remember from a long, long time ago.

I played it safe and used my husband's camera..... Took mostly in total eclipse which was safe. Otherwise just put the eclipse glasses in front of the lens. No damage. Figure he deserved to be using his. He laid my Nikon on the trunk of our car the other day and I drove halfway across town until a lady stopped me and told me I had a camera on my trunk.....lol Very lucky it didn't fall off.

We live just south of Cape Girardeau, Mo where there is an albino deer that appears out of a wooded area from time to time. It's in a heavy traffic area with houses just across the street. We went there to see if we could catch it but it didn't appear that day. However, we did get a couple photos of regular deer. I love the close up, which I cropped. They did not seem afraid of people. Maybe the white one will come out for us one of our trips there. I am attaching one my brother in law took.

Brother in law's photo. Taken same place as we took the top two on a different day.

We owned an SX60 and it did not take clear photos on the farthest zoom. After sending it back 3 times the told Best Buy to give us full credit on whatever camera we wanted.

Awwwww that would be so cute to see. We were out today and saw a mom with twin babies and I was excited about that. Triplets, that would be so exciting.

Don't you just love it when you are driving down the road and come across a deer standing beside the road posing for you?

I love that tiny bird. Great clear shots for a fast little bird.
