You might consider Leofoto LN 404C carbon fiber tripod. It is big and fairly heavy but steady as can be. Mine handles my Minolta 600mm lens with ease. Price is now about $649, up just a bit since it was introduced a few years ago. I believe B and H still carries it.
Male and female Wood Ducks.
They usually sit higher off the ground but it looks like an osprey to me.
Thanks again. When I get home I will give it another try.
Thanks. I just might get one.
Thanks. I forgot about that forum. It is now posted there.
I bought a refurbished Epson XP 960 from Epson back in November 2019 and it worked perfectly for two months when it suddenly started creasing photo paper causing the printer to jam. The paper is not shredded and is ejected by the printer by pressing the Cancel key on the printer. There is no issue with plain white paper. It prints perfectly. After conversing with Epson they sent me a new printer. Same thing again, two months later it started creasing photo paper. Epson sent me a third printer. Now exactly two months later this printer is doing the same thing. Any ideas? I have been printing since 2001 with HP and Epson printers and have never seen anything like this. Comments or suggestions appreciated.

Quite a guy. Thanks for sharing. I think I will try out his line when I can work it into the conversation.
And you are the lucky winner. Please private message me your name and mailing address.
I have had great luck with Carrot Ink and really can not tell any difference from Epson.
My Epson 837 finally gave up the ghost after many years of faithful service and was replaced with an Epson XP 960. I have twelve cartridges (Epson 98s) left over of 3rd party (Carrot Ink and Inkjet.com) that I will gladly give to a Hogger who owns this printer for shipping cost only. Cartridges include: 4 black, 2 magenta, 2 cyan. 2 light magenta, 2 light cyan and open catridges of all but magenta. Please reply or send private message if interested.
Nice.job. Limpklns are my favourite bird. I once watched one get seven shellfish in a row from a canal near my house.
Did you notice Limpkins are strong swimmers and flyers but walk just about everywhere.
Thanks to all for replies.
There have been numerous threads about companies that specialize in Gray Market products but I have only seen the name Tristate camera come up once. They are currently advertising the Tamron 18-400 lens for at or about $496. This seems too good to be true. Abe's of Maine is even selling it for a few dollars cheaper. Do any Hoggers have any experience with Tristate Camera?
