Not to worry; I never mind being corrected if I am wrong. I have learned long ago that I am not perfect, and am slowly learning that I never will be an am working on the concept of "good enough."
I am glad that you liked the photograph, however. I was happy how it turned out as well; as was my friend.
I absolutely agree. A favorite student of mine.
You're welcome. I love all the diversity at our school.
Thank you for responding to my question. I just needed to know that I didn't post something incorrectly, or that this site was not just a hoax, or any other number of things that generally happen to me.
And thank you for the compliment. :)
We really no longer have a majority race at our school. If you had to do a physical count, the Indians from India would outnumber Caucasians by a very small percentage.
The Majority Rules
I work at an International Baccalaureate Charter School, K - 12, and every year we have an International Parade where all the students and even staff can dress in their cultural clothing. We are very diverse in our 1200+ students with 53 different languages spoken in the homes of our students. It is my dream world.
My Sweet Pakistani Student
Took this one especially for my best friend Lilliane whose son, one of a set of triplets - the only boy) will be graduating next year. She said she had never gotten a good picture of him playing all the time he has been doing so. He is the second from the left.
The Brass Section
I am just wondering and a little surprised that no one has commented on these photos at all? Especially since so many people have looked at them. Have I done something wrong posting them? Are they really that bad? Just wondering.
I know; this one is better, but I liked the framing of the other one better. I never can have my cake and eat it too.
I agree that her second song was way better than her first, and that what I really don't like is her attitutude. Although, I really didn't like her third performance all that much eiher. But I, too, am able to separate talent from my feelings about a person and their attitude, although in an entertainer, I do believe the package does go together.
A Rose at a brunch for a school weekend function we just had.
A Rose is not Just a Rose
I can't say if I like the lone barn or the one above it the best, but these are wonderful shots.
Quick reflexes and steady hands; can't beat that! Beautiful.
It's gorgeous, especially the depth-of-field
