A quote from NLee the Engineer.
"LaCrosse BC series are the gold standard
for battery chargers"

I'm using the BC-1000 model. Very satisfied.

Ditto, Merry Christmas

wait! I wonder if this will get us kicked off the site. It's not politically correct to say Merry Christmas - is it?

It is for me also.
If its Christmas, you say Merry Christmas.
Why? Because its CHRISTMAS a.h.

On black plastic? Good luck to spot the difference, better read the sticker, it would be faster.

A much better way is to know your equipment the batteries are different in shape in the first place so there is no way to make any mistake.

I use silver markers for black surfaces. Works perfectly
on many surfaces.

I always bought the f/1.4 or f/2 and not the f/1.2 or f/1.8 because I dislike the in between stop of f/1.8 and f/1.2. Yeah I am nuts.

But besides that if you want thin DOF then the f/1.4 gives you less DOF. For low light f/1.8 and f/1.4 are not that much of a difference.

No you are not nuts.
I agree with you 100%

I started driving semi truck in the early 60's and had my time with a few tractors which had a crank out windshield. Since if those tractors didn't have defrosters let alone heaters, I asked a few of the old timers how they kept the windows defrosted on their runs from Minneapolis to Chicago in the winter. They said they would cut a Bermuda Onion in half and smear the inside and outside of the window. They said it kept the windshield clear and them awake.

I heard the same thing using white potatoes' (on a scuba mask)
