I purchased the Caden sling camera bag last month. Personally I really like it but I am not using a full-size digital SLR. I have a canon SL one and several micro 4/3s. i imagine it would hold 1 dslr and two lenses easily.
I cannot remember right now where I ordered it from, eBay or Amazon. It was $29.99. My only problem was that it did not have any tags on it yet it was being sold as new. I suspected It had been purchased, tried, tags removed and sent back. I didn't Like this procedure of advertising something as new when it very well could've been "like new". I have use this bag continually since purchasing it . Well made.
I also have a low pro slaying 101 or 102. I did some research on YouTube concerning these bags. To carry like a backpack I do prefer these. Very comfortable

Try a 300mm and see what you get. You obviously do not understand anythng about lenses.

That was just plain rude. Shame on you. Interacting on the site and learning from one another I'm assuming is the purpose of the site. If you have nothing better to offer than your criticism and snide remark's maybe you should consider going elsewhere. People here are very nice and very helpful .....your remark Falls far below the bar !

I have the raynox 150 and I really love it. I have taken a lot of shots with it without a tripod and done well kneeling close to the subject. However I have to admit I cannot kneel as easily as I used to. It takes wonderful pictures and I think it's worth the price that you are selling it for. I would actually be tempted to buy it. But for now I have to pass. I also have the 250 but I prefer the 150.

I read your response with great interest. My wife lived in Saranac Lake from 1970 to about 1981. Her father worked in Ray Brook in the DEP building which, I believe is right next to the place where you worked. Small world. Erich

Ha, yes, small world...DEP....Dept of environmental ?......that would have been right across the road if its what I am thinking.....I thought it was the DEC.....but it was long ago....and my mind may be failing!!! You gave some good history however to that particular region. Even tho I've been far removed from it, it was refreshing to realize it was an active part of my life.....then.
Thanks Erich

Saranac Lake is a small town in The Adirondack Mountains whose architecture was shaped by Tuberculosis. In the late 1870's Dr. Trudeau (the great grandfather of cartooonist Gary Trudeau of Doonesbury fame), who suffered from Tuberculosis moved his family from Long Island to the Adirondack Mountains for a "fresh air cure". He recovered from his disease and started a practice in Saranac Lake that was dedicated to the study and cure of Tuberculosis. The cure was based on fresh air, good food and total rest. In order to practice this cure, it was required that patients would rest out of doors in the fresh air. In 1880 the first "cure cottage" was constructed. It is called "Little Red" and is today on the American register of historic buildings. Soon people were coming from all over the United States to cure in Saranac Lake at the Trudeau Institute. The town started building "cure porches" on their houses where people could rest outside in the fresh air. Some of these porches were open and some were screened in. Most were added onto existing houses since the Trudeau cure had become big business in the town. Hundreds of patients had to find places where they could rest. They rented rooms from people in town that had access to a cure porch. While I was in Saranac Lake last week, I decided to photograph a few typical cure porches. You can see that many of these porches, some enclosed in screen rooms, were added on to the existing houses. Basically these photos are snap shots that are designed to give a sense of place. All comments are welcome.

From 1970 to 1976 I worked at a facility between Saranac Lake and Lake placid called Raybrook. It was a tuberculosis hospital that had been shut down and reopened as a narcotic rehabilitation facility. I worked there for six years and left at the time of the closing. I am familiar with some of these houses that you posted here. I was also aware of the story concerning Dr. Trudeau and his son. At the time that this facility opened in 1970 it brought in a lot of revenue to the area. Initially the residents of Saranac Lake nor Lake Placid did not want the facility nor the Residents nor the staff. But when they saw the amount of monies that was brought to the area they embraced us readily. After the facility closed in 1976 it became the Olympic Village housing for the Olympics that were held in that area at that time. Now I am not sure what is going on in those buildings. I haven't been back to that area in a long time. But I found it very pleasant to live in especially with a cold winters and dry air. A part of history for sure.

No worries. All Lexar cards come with a pamphlet for recovery SW. Lexar, along with Sandisk have been a standard for cards for a long time - I (and many pros) have been using them for years without issue. I would however, suggest the following for any card, especially if it's a special occasion:

Use more smaller rather than fewer larger cards, so if you have an issue, you don't lose so much. I use 32 GB max and prefer 8 - 16GB cards for this reason.
Format your new card in your camera before use.
If your body supports dual cards, set it up to record to both cards so you have a backup
Download either via a card reader or USB connection to your computer as soon as you finish a shoot.

Again, just because one user is having an issue, no reason to avoid using a well-recoginized and reliable supplier - the problem could be the card or it could be a myriad of other potential issues/problem(s).

Thank you............I usually use 8gigs......but the price was reasonable.........I can't imagine I would ever come near using a 32 gig.........it was the price....BUT for this occasion, now, I think I'll use a different card............your post is reassuring......thanks

I want to say....This post peaked my interest because several months ago I bought two Lexar 32 gig professional cards as I am having my 50th high school reunion this Saturday...... august 12th. I found it interesting that when I received the digital cards that there was a little pamphlet inside about recovery. I have never used the cards and I just now removed the card from my Canon camera.....as of now I don't feel safe to use it for the reunion or any purpose. Perhaps if you need a copy of what they sent me you can PM me regarding the recovery pamphlet that was enclosed. It's a little late to buy a card now so I'll have to use one of the other ones that I have. But I'm so glad I saw this post. Now I have two Lexar cards that I'm afraid to use for any purpose whatsoever .
