My first plane ride was in one of these at Kennett, Missouri in 1937 0r 38. Caused me to fall in love with flying. I sat in about the third sear from the front on right side.
Camped there many times about 70 years ago. Was a wonderful place and very few people at that time.
Good memories. Haven't seen a P-39 or an old P-51 In a long time. Was an aircraft mechanic on C-47's in 1943-44. Saw a lot of people parachuting out training for the invasion of Europe.
