There are at least Three of us, and one is a convert from Nikon---Recently sold Leica M6 and 2 Nikons in favor of mobility and acquired EP3 and added a 12mm-f2.0 with intent of building complete system....The lens is producing GREAT things!!

Incidentally, does anyone know where I an find a Minox Light meter?
They were mfgd as an accompaniment to the IIIs, and subsequent models all had built-in meters. (Mine is about 1943 and the serial # is listed as "SS" property) RobertW

I have been using Nikons (From an F to a D5000) for many years, and I also used a Leica M and Leica VLux1 for years as well. When I lived in the Middle East for 9 years, I used a Hasselblad as it was available as Employer Gear. But I have recently disposed of all the film and current digital Nikons as I need to down-size and have portability now. I have started to build an Oly system with the purchase of an EP3 with the 14-42 Kit lens and also added the 12MM-f2.0....GREAT glass!!---for street photography, it's amazing what I have been getting...will continue to build on this new system..Kept the Leica Vlux for long shots, and will NEVER let go of my Minox IIIs---WWII vintage- works great- send their proprietary film back to them with instructions and they are always on the money-RobertW

I should have added that I also carry at all times a Nikon Coolpix S6200--and for a P&S it does great...So my "Gear" consists of the EP3, the Leica VLux1, the S6200 AND an early WWII Vintage Minox IIIS which has an SS ID on it!!

Using an Olympus Pen EP3 with the kit lens at 14-42 and also bought the 12mm f2.0 lens-which is AMAZING! Needed to change to system with more portability..Previously used Leica M with several lenses, Nikon D80 (used many Nikons starting with Nikon F), am retaining a Leica VLux1 for long shots....but 4/3 is here to stay...I have all the same capability in a little backpack as I had before with a huge bag...Quality so far is outstanding with the 12mm-f2.0 lens

I have a Leica M4 and a Leica M6 with very fast lenses and they are nothing short of spectacular...I also have a Leica V-Lux 1 and am interested in the V-Lux 5....Can't afford an M9 at this time but would love to have one...Aside from Hasselblad, there is no better camera made than Leica. At the same time I have had many Nikons from Nikon F to 5000 and their lenses are great...If you can afford it--the new V-Lux would be a great place to start and would keep your interest for a very long time...Robert

Now use LeicaM and just acquired Nikon Coolpix S6200 as "walkaround" camera. Am gifting daughter with all Nikon equipment and Leica M....switching to just digital...Looking at Leica X1 and Olympus Pen E3...Does anyone have experience with the X1 or the PenE3....comparison?? (Will keep Leica V-Lux 1 for telephoto work)
