I was going to buy a small electric fan for $12, but the reviews mentioned this fan. The problem with a regular fan is where to put it (and the use of electricity). If I put the plastic fan on top of the stove - well, you know. : )

You saved how much $$$ using wood vs oil or electricity to heat your home and you are concerned about the cost of electricity a small fan uses?

Went to the New England Carousel Museum in Bristol, CT today. Interesting place, but hard to photograph, even though there are a lot of colorful displays. The subjects are behind ropes and are packed in pretty tight, so it's tough to isolate most of the main features in the exhibits. The lighting is dim, but with spotlights that cause uneven lighting. Many of the items are too far away to get them well lit.

They look pretty damn good to me.

I took these photos on last Tuesday. That day it was super cold with strong winds. Could stayed there only for two hours. As it was windy, could not get nice reflections.

Wow!! I can only imagine what the electric bill will be.

A generic question on P&S like this one only attracts generic crap.

If you need a specific opinion between two or three cameras - any brand - ask the owners of these camera but first use you fingers and your keyboard to do the initial research.

He wasn't brand specific. He wasn't model specific. He offered no choices. He did use his fingers and he regrettable ended up here. How about a Nikon Coolpix L830.

First post! Welcome to UHH.

Don't mean to be rude, but any answers to your question would be a waste of time without more information.

He wants some info on a point and shot camera. At that level, he can use it as he wishes.

Perhaps it is the concept of Christ he has a problem with.

My post was not directed at Chris_T, it was in response to SteveR's continued lament that Chris_T violated the 3rd Commandment by originally appearing here as ChrisT (not to mention his clear pride in having Admin force ChrisT to change his name to Chris_T - perhaps he should refresh himself on what the Lord says about pride...). I suggested in a reply that perhaps Christian tolerance would be to give ChrisT the benefit of the doubt, also noting that many Hispanics (not so many WASPs or African Americans for some reason) name their children Jesus and I doubted seriously that they considered themselves blasphemous. I also noted that SteveR did the same thing - first name with first initial of the last name. At which point, SteveR persisted.

I am no great fan of Chris_T, but to assume that he was being blasphemous by the choice of his name here indicates unthinking dogmatism, i.e., misguided beliefs, which could perhaps benefit from a guided prayer session.

I think I will leave this alone. Too much animosity for me.

No. The answer is anything other than yours. Put away your club.
