Yes she did. They let her meet with some of the POWs. Many of them gave her small pieces of paper with they social security numbers on them so that DOD could let their families know they were still alive. She gave them to the North Vietnamese which resulted in their getting tortured for making the attempt. She's nothing short of a scum bag traitor to the United States. Just ask any Vietnam era veteran.... ?!$$ on that &!+(#....

I either use my pocket or the camera bag. At the end of the day, I check the caps and lenses and remove any residual debris...

Thanks everyone for your response on my post. Guess I just need to bite the bullet and get a better lense and not the extender. You gave me a lot of choices to look at. Any difference in the Sigma or the Tamron? Which would you buy? thanks already as I know I will get some great answers!

Some of the folks here (including myself) are using the Tamron 18-400 and find it to be a fairly decent lens. If you want or need more reach than 400, the next thing s to start researching the reviews on the options. I suggest focusing on what you want to do with it, the strengths and weaknesses of each one, and if it's only going to be an occasional need, consider a used lens. I spent a fair amount of time looking into getting a TC, but decided against it due to the loss of speed and the seeming lack of compatibility in fit and function that they tend to have. My big gun is a Sigma 18-500 which I bought used for a really decent price. It's an FX lens which I'm using on a DX camera (D7500) so I get the equivalent of a 220-750mm reach due to the sensor cropping. It takes much better pictures than I'd ever get using a TC. I don't use it a whole lit, but it's nice to know it's there when I need the reach. Both companies have some great lenses, so like I said , take some time and research what's out there...

billnikon Yes FASTER means FASTER but if you care to check most makers range of lenses you will find as I said the faster lens is also the sharper lens. A Canon 50mm. F1.4 is a much sharper lens than the Canon 50mm. F1.8. The Canon 70/200 F2.8 IS is much sharper than the Canon 70/200 F4 IS and so on. It appears to me you have not troubled to research my comment before disagreeing with it, but thanks for your enlightening input.

Then I have a question : If each of those lenses were used to take the same picture under the same conditions, let's say ISO: 1200, f5.6, 1/250, would the 1.4 lens shoot a sharper image than the 1.8, and if so why? If both were shot on "auto" would they still use the same parameters to take the same pic to achieve the same results.

Correction: It was actually Peter Houston who invented the first roll film camera, in 1881. A few years later, his brother David Houston licensed the patent to George Eastman.

Here's a 45 minute 3 part documentary on George Eastman...

Not if the poster quotes ...f/1.4.......... Tc's do not have adjustable apertures... They have a magnification factor of 1.4x ...or 2x...
So I'm sure he/she is referring to a lens, and not a Tele converter.

Didn't catch the f... my bad...

WHen I was a young lad living in LA, I remember Vi Scully and Jerry Doggett each doing 3 innings between radio and TV. we kept a radio near the TV which we turned on when Vin switched to rdio. The old man didn't like Jerry non too much... I remember the Dodgers taking down the Yankees in 1963 with Kofax and Drysdale. During the season, Maury Wills would get on base, steal 2nd and then 3rd. Someone would sacrifice the him home, then they'd look at Kofax or Drysdale and say... "there's your winning run"... I was hoping it would be the Dodgers and Yankees one more time... Oh well...

I ate a few Dodger Dogs at Dodger Stadium in the 60's...

You used to be able to find it 10 minutes after the league championships ended. So far it looks like LA is favored by what little I am able to interpret. Either way, It's Dodger Blue all the way for me. I still have the LA hat I wore 29 years ago. A bit dusty, but looking good. I can still remember the night Kirk Gibson skunked the A's with his homer... Let the games begin!!!

I've bee n retired for 20 years now. The aspect that bothered me the most was losing vacation and holidays! All gone. 😎😎😎

Hey... It's a cush job, but somebody's got to do it... Working in a hospital, I used to work a lot of holidays, but now I'm on what some might refer to as a permanent vacation... I consider being retired (almost 4 years now) either as finally having my dream job or as existing in a constant state of gainful unemployment...
